Josh Mallit grew up in Pittsburgh and was introduced to a four-track recorder at the age of 16. Joining a band shortly after, he has been recording and performing music across the country. In Atlanta he was surrounded by a thriving DJ culture where he mastered programming synthesizers and sampling, as well as techniques in Electronic Music Production.

Relocating to San Diego, he found himself producing solo artists, triggering samples for bands at shows, and recording at Capricorn Studios with Bryan Stratman. After earning his Pro Tools Certification at The Recording Arts Center (TRAC), Josh became a permanent member of the team at Capricorn Studios.
